Organic Cacao, Organic Coconut Sugar

Recipe

Hot Cocoa: Warm 1 cup milk of your choice on the stovetop until just before boiling. In a large mug, mix 3 Tbsp cacao with the heated milk. Blend with immersion blender until rich & creamy.

Iced Drinking Chocolate: In a large cup, mix 3 Tbsp cacao with a dash of boiling water. Blend with immersion blender into a paste until cacao is completely dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold milk of your choice and immersion blend again. Pour over ice and give it a stir. Enjoy!

Our Cacao Sourcing

We direct source our single origin, heirloom cacao from small family farms along the Ucayali River in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. It is sustainably and ethically grown using regenerative agroforestry to create positive change for the growers, the cacao, and the earth.

*Please Note: Our cacao comes in powdered form, which we craft by hand from our stoneground cacao paste. This is NOT "cacao powder" like the majority of products you see on the market. Cacao powder has been highly processed to remove the essential cacao butter from the product. Manufacturers do this because they can make higher profit from selling cacao butter on its own. However, this destroys the integrity of the cacao. It makes a thin, processed drink, and you do not get the incredible health properties of whole bean cacao. We believe in honoring cacao as nature intended.
